Are you drinking alcohol? I felt extremely drowsy the next day if I even had one drink the night before with the Ativan. Now I don't drink any alcohol because I hate the reaction to it the next day. Maybe the Paxil is just now kicking in for you, and you're feeling drowsy from that? If so, do you take it at night or in the morning? If you're taking it in the morning, maybe you should switch to taking it just before bed so you don't feel so drowsy the next day.

Thanks to all for replying Regarding your response Twiggygal I'm only taking 1 mg of Ativan at night because the Paxil was causing me to not be able to go to sleep. I didn't think I had a problem with the Paxil causing me to lorazepam together sleepy, I just thought it was the Ativan. Maybe I should try taking the Paxil at night before bed??? Hi Together I'm new here but have been lurking for a week or so. Saw your post and thought I'd share my little "lorazepam together" with Lorazepam, Ativan. Last year I had a panic attack and was given a couple Lorazepam 1mg in the ER- told tp take one when I needed it. I did need it drug interaction ambien and hydrocodone night and it wiped me out for a lorazepam together 24 hours--I was tired all day and could barely function, didn't like it, I have a family to keep up with!

I told my doc and the first thing she said was-you don't drink do you?
