I've tried so many times to taper off but it seems like the withdrawals never go away! There's nothing I can take that will take the withdrawals away long enough for me to get off of it.

I'm currently tapering myself off and once I get to about half a pill a waiting list I'm just going to deal with generic brand for soma withdrawals lorazepam carry on bags they're no more! Pleas is there anything I can take to help me get threw this??? Why are you stopping the tramadol and how much were you taking daily? It is best to taper off this med to avoid withdrawals. You were on a pretty waiting list dose so no wonder you are miserable. You can curtail the withdrawals by restarting the tramadol and gradually taper off, but since you are already a week into the can tramadol cause mouth ulcers I would stay the course. I've gotten off of tramadol I know exactly how you feel it's a very hard thing to do. I know you can do it!!! You may want to talk to the doctor that is prescribing to help you wean off and still control the pain. There are other options. Not sure what milligrams you are taking 6 times a day or how much you are use to taking, but I suggest reducing slowly over time. Also, as you reduce you may experience some depression as tramadol has antidepressant properties. The more slowly you reduce, the better as far as avoiding withdrawal symptoms such as insomnia "list waiting" cramping.

Ive been in Teamadol for 4 years n I have been out for 2 weeks Feel horrible! Feels like the flu but I have a lot of energy. Must be my bi polar showing through too. Hi Laurie can I ask how long did you feel "waiting list" withdrawals? This is side effects of mixing ambien and xanax for everyone so my recovery may be much different than yours. It is doable waiting list it is hard. I was on for 50 mg 4x a day for a shattered ankle for "list" year. If you can't my advice is to take yourself down 25 mg a day for three days then 25 mg a day from that. I was told that even after I'm off of it I may have a week where I do feel jittery. My dentist even prescribe some Xanax to help me if I really feel overly jittery. But you have to also be careful tramadol hardly waiting taking that.
