I have an MRI on sat 14th. I am claustrophobic and have had one MRI before where i cried the whole way through. The doctor has given me 2 diazepam tablets. Does anyone have any experience of these? Hi yes I was given a couple of diazepam to take before I had a contraceptive procedure done.

My consultant has told me to get diazepam from my gp surgery for MRI. Has anyone else done this? I do get claustrophobic and suffer from anxiety but am wondering if I can cope, cos its so hard to get to see GP!
