Tattoo and a xanax taking getting

Wed And getting 28, 7: If someone took a xanax before getting tattooed, whould there be any negative effects i. Wed Sep 28, 8: Xanax is a prescription drug used to lessen axiety or nervousness, sort of like Valium. Unless this medication has been prescribed to you by your doctor you shouldn't be taking this at all!! Thanks, but I did not mean for my question to sound that way.

I have been prescribed this drug by my DR. I was just wondering if it would make me bleed tattoo like aspirin or alcohol thats all. KitaKazoo Tattoo Artist Joined: Who knows, but it could make your body so relaxed that you pass out and pee yourself, or worse. Seen it too often Tattoos need to be gotten clean and sober so your natural pain system can work properly. Oh My Fucking God I have a cat tattooed on my stomach and the asshole is my bellybutton!! Drat Tattoo Artist Joined: Thu Sep 29, 7: BenMatthews Tattoo Artist Tattoo Thu Sep 29, 8: I phentermine if bipolar disorder I'd have to disagree with everyone here so far. I think tattoo of missed the part where he said he has been prescribed this medication by and getting xanax a tattoo taking doctor.

Who are we to say he should'nt take a drug that has been prescribed by his doctor? I tattoo people all the time, as I'm sure most of us do, that have been prescribed similar drugs. If you have a legitimate need for xanax tattoo taking a and getting drug, and take it as advised, you're not really going to get "fucked up". If this person has a legitimate need to take the drug, and is NOT taking it thinking it is going to help him through the process of getting tattooed, then I don't think tattoo is anything wrong with getting tattooed on it.

I've tattooed people who took all phentermine and shoulder pain of things, including stuff as strong as oxycontin, because they were prescribed it for pain. Thing is, even a very strong pain relievers like oxycontin or flexirile don't do anything for gatting tattooed.

So, if you are prescribed by a doctor to take any kind of medication, take it as directed. We are not doctors, and thus, cannot tell you what you should or should not take. However, if you have any concerns about such things, ask your doctor. I have tattooed several people who took Xanax by prescription, and had no problems. If you do not have a prescription for it, or flexeril and ambien together need it, you body will react differently to it than if you did, and you may have problems with it.

I don't in anyway condone "tattoo" any kind of drug to aleave the pain of getting tattooed. If you are taking a prescription, that's one thing. But taking something for the pain, thinking that it's going to help you get through the tattoo, is'nt going to help. And tattoo do more harm than good. In most states it's illegal for us to touch you if we know or even suspect that you are under the influence.

Besides, if you really want the tattoo, there is no need to take anything for it. If you are that freaked out about it, you're not ready for it. Fri Sep 30, 4: Fri Sep 30, 6: Thanks for ALL of your perspectives. Ben hit the nail on the head!!! I just got my large piece touched up while on xanax and things went well. I did not pass out "and getting" piss myself. I actually felt sober cuz it acts like taking xanax equilibrium for me per my Doctor. When I originally posted this, Tattoo just wanted to make sure the meds would not cause excessive bleeding like other meds The experience was enjoyable.

It just sucks that I cant go in the ocean or exercise for a while. But its a small price to pay for that sweet ol ink. Props to the good artists out there. I hope all scratchers get their dicks or ovaries on the cutting board some day. Fri Sep 30, 7: LOL i thought i was pretty clear. Fri Sep 30, 8: Last time I took Xanax price street price list, I was 17, stole it from my mother.

Tattoo 3 or 4 and drank a pint of Kessler. I woke up 12 hours later in someone's house Tattoo did not tattoo in a pile of my own puke with them yelling at me to get the fuck out. I've had plenty of clients over the years divulge, mid-way through a tattoo, dot and xanax use they had taken xanex and other psychotropics and painkillers before we got started- NONE of the people who had taken xanex, valium or any other similar psychotropic bled excessively or abnormally. Now some people who had taken pain killers bled a little more because the aspirine or other fillers that were mixed into the pill caused their blood and taking tattoo xanax getting a thin.

As long as you're not intoxicated, I don't feel it's my right to tell you what you can and what you can taking xanax take. It is IMPORTANT, though, that you inform tattoo artist of anything you have taken that you even suspect might thin your blood or otherwise effect your tattoo- so your artist will be aware of any potential problems does pfizer make xanax be prepared for them.

Ultimately, each tattooer has the right to refuse to tattoo anyone they want- we're indepndent contractors- and we each have our own code of professional ethics. They aren't 'wrong'- they just have a strong opinion which should be respected. I think you'll find, though, that if you explain the circumstances of exactly WHY you, and your physician, feel taking your medication during a tattoo is appropriate, MOST tattoo artists will agree; and if they don't, they'll have a very good reason for disagreeing that you might well appreciate and even agree with once it's explained.

Drat, when I said that nobody is qualified to give advice on prescription meds, I meant it. Only doctors can tell you how your prescription medication can interfere with something like getting a tattoo or going for surgery. The individual may pass out or worse I can't answer definitively about xanax and tattooing. I do believe that a tattoo artist is an excellent person to speak to about all aspects of being tattooed.

It is my impression that the medical profession is often grossly misinformed about the tattooing process, and profession. A tattooist is far more likely to understand how certain things interact with the tattooing taking xanax. Sun Oct 02, 6: A tattooer may know the ins and outs of ink. That I totally agree. And a tattooer should be aware of whatever drugs their client is taking, so that they may give their opinion on whether they are ok to get tattooed or not while using "tattoo" drug.

But in no way, shape or form should a tattooer be giving advice on what prescription drugs to take. The only answer to this type of question should be "Ask your doctor". Unless the tattooer has a PhD, then they should not be giving any advice on prescription drugs. Drat, and getting on this board should be giving advice about what they know best, tattoos.

Giving advice tramadol suddenly stopped working tattoos and giving advice on medication is not the same tattoo. I could see the lawsuits now Tattooists shouldn't prescribe medication. My point was that a tattooist may well be a better source of how a drug interacts with the tattooing process than a doctor. A doctor may not understand how a drug will interact with the tattooing process. Certainly no one but a doctor should say whether a human being should be on a drug or not.

A tattooist can say how that drug, that has been prescribedmay affect one while tattooed. I'd never suggest that anyone but a doctor should say whether one should be on a drug. I do suggest that a tattooist would know how the already prescribed drug may affect one while being tattooed. Sun Oct 02, 7: Never once did i say i was qualified to write prescriptions out.
