Who are we to say he should'nt take a drug that has been prescribed by his doctor? I tattoo people all the time, as I'm sure most of us do, that have been prescribed similar drugs. I've tattooed people who took all phentermine and shoulder pain of things, including stuff as strong as oxycontin, because they were prescribed it for pain. Thing is, even a very strong pain relievers like oxycontin or flexirile don't do anything for gatting tattooed.

So, if you are prescribed by a doctor to take any kind of medication, take it as directed. We are not doctors, and thus, cannot tell you what you should or should not take. However, if you have any concerns about such things, ask your doctor. I have tattooed several people who took Xanax by prescription, and had no problems. If you do not have a prescription for it, or flexeril and ambien together need it, you body will react differently to it than if you did, and you may have problems with it.
